FUGEE

Stagecraft explores the lives of young migrants in FUGEE

Stagecraft are in the final phase of rehearsals for FUGEE by multi-award wining writer Abi Morgan. ‘FUGEE' plays at The Hub, 49 Albert Street for two nights only on Friday 15 and Saturday 16th May.

FUGEE explores the world of migrants seeking refuge. This topical subject was tackled by Stagecraft’s inaugural production ‘How Quickly We Forget’ in 1998 and is as relevant today as it was then. FUGEE is a brilliant exploration of what it’s like to be a young person finding their way in a new country and negotiating a system that seems firmly rigged against them. It is a compelling tale of friendship, loyalty and young love, framed beautifully around a tragic life changing incident.

Abi Morgan is one of the most interesting voices writing today.
